Superstition Mountain Heritage Days January 17 and 18, 2015

The 6th annual Superstition Mountain Heritage Days & Apacheland Reunion celebrates 55 years since being established in early 1959. The 12-acre site at the base of the mountains hosts a slew of entertainers, from Hollywood actor and star of Audie Murphy’s ‘Arizona Raiders' Michael Dante, the Apache Yellow Bird Dancers and Teton Ken as 'The Dutchman' himself, Jacob Waltz and Cement Bootprints of the Stars, wild-west gunfights and stuntmen.

The Arizona Renaissance Festival is one of the largest of the Renaissance events in the nation because it is really five Festivals all rolled into a giant, costumed fantasy village with 13 Stages of Continuous Live Entertainment, Outdoor Circus, Medieval Arts & Crafts Fair, Jousting Tournament with Three Performances Each Day, and Day-Long Feasts east of Gold Canyon, Arizona on US-60.

Lost Dutchman Marathon February 15, 2015

The 14th Annual Lost Dutchman Arizona Marathon is Sunday, February 15th, 2015. Running from Gold Canyon to Apache Junction, the Lost Dutchman follows a scenic, rolling, point-to-point, USATF certified course that can be used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. Located at the base of Superstition Mountain near the rumored site of the legendary Lost Dutchman Mine, this event is a favorite of serious marathoners and casual runners alike.

Lost Dutchman Days February 26 to March 1, 2015

The 2015 version of Lost Dutchman Days continues to be "the fun place to be for all ages." This 51st Annual Event has 3 days of Professional Rodeo action, a Carnival that features 30+ rides, and carnival attractions held every year in Apache Junction, Arizona. The Parade, viewing always a favorite and attracts thousands of spectators were entertained with 152 entries. 

Apache Leap Mining Festival March 14 and 15, 2015

27th annual Apache Leap Mining Festival. We are also celebrating the Magma Arizona Railroad. Learn about mining; past present and future. Watch the grueling mining competition as entrants show their skills with spiking, sawing, mucking and drilling, while competing for a $2,000 cash purse! Bring your Chihuahua and enter your pooch in the Chihuahua race! The event is just 30 minutes east of Apache Junction on Main Street, Superior. Apache Jii Celebration October, 2015

Dutch Hunter Rendezvous October, 2015 

10th Annual 2014 Dutch Hunter Rendezvous. This is a dry camp and you must bring your own food and water. You must supply your camping gear, bedrolls, lights, etc. The Rendezvous includes story telling about the Superstition Mountain and the famed lost gold in the area. Last year more than a hundred people attended. There are available restrooms. The Dons’ camp is located eight miles from Highway 60 east of Apache Junction on the Peralta Trail Head road FS 77.

Ben Johnson Days November, 2015

It is time, once again, for the Annual Ben Johnson Days hosted by the Goldfield Ghost Riders. The event encompasses something for everyone - Texas Hold-em Tournament, Fun Gymkhana, Poker Ride, 50/50 Raffles & of course the annual Horse Trailer Raffle! Proceeds benefit children's charities. This event not only promises fun and excitement, it also gives us the opportunity to help those who cannot help themselves. Prickly Pear & Mesquite Festival November, 2015

The 2nd Annual Prickly Pear & Mesquite Festival, and Mesquite Pancake Breakfast is a celebration of both of these life-giving plants and will introduce attendees to the practical aspects of harvesting and preparing this bounty of the desert for their own personal use.This event will take place between 9 am & 4 pm and will be held at Superstition Mountain Museum located at 4087 N Apache Trail in Apache Junction, Arizona. To purchase tickets for yourself and for resale, contact Vicki 480-982-3666
